'Crisis' is many times confused to a 'disaster'. For many scholars, a 'disaster' is the negative result of a 'crisis'. According to Quarantelli et al (2007)*, a“crisis refers to a situation in which a threat to a system’s basic structures or values is present, which must be dealt with urgently and under conditions of uncertainty.”
